Our Self Guided eBike Tour from Beresford, McLaren Flat is the ultimate day out for anyone who loves the outdoors, a bit of freedom, and discovering places off the beaten track.
Starting at the stylish Beresford Tasting Pavilion, you’ll roll out on a short section of quiet road before joining the Flat to Vale Trail – a gentle, off-road path that meanders through vineyards and farmland. It’s an easy, scenic ride with plenty of shady trees and wide-open skies to set the tone for your day.
At the end of the Flat to Vale Trail, you’ll swing left onto the Shiraz Trail, and from there it’s just a few cruisy kilometres into the charming historic village of Willunga.
Willunga Wanderings
Willunga is full of character – from heritage buildings and cute cafés to quirky little shops and weekend markets. Lock up the bikes and stretch your legs with a stroll down High street. You’ll find homemade treats, art, antiques, and maybe even a new favourite coffee spot. There’s always something happening here – especially on market days!
The Scenic Route Home
Once you’ve soaked up the vibe in Willunga, take the quieter back roads through rolling countryside to loop back toward McLaren Flat. This stretch is one of our favourites – quiet, green, and perfect for slowing down and enjoying the view.
Keep your eyes peeled for wildflowers and the occasional kangaroo. Oh, and of course choose from one of the many bespoke cellar doors along the way to stop for a wine tasting and a food platter.
